What’s Inside My Diaper Bag?

So I officially have one more doctor’s appointment until our due date! I can’t believe it! Some days it feels so long, and then somehow short at the same time! Haha!

While I’ve been trying to get things ready for the hospital, I decided to focus on the diaper bag and what I’ll pack for the baby and get it all done! I’ve done this 3 times before, but I still get excited packing and preparing for our new little one!

I’m also trying to simplify and make things as non-stressful as possible, so I found that ordering things off of Amazon seemed to help since it’s fast shipping and I can easily make returns if something doesn’t work! (I also don’t have to take my kids with me to the store!) Oh, and to add the cherry on top, Amazon is having 20% off baby gear right now!

Here’s a little peek at what I’ve packed so far!

So first I found this diaper bag here:

Diaper Bag by Miss Fong, Baby Diaper Bag Backpack with Changing Pad, Wipes Pouch, Diaper Bag Organizer, Stroller Straps and Insulated Pockets(Grey)

It’s a fawn design look-alike. I decided that I’m ok with this one rather than the real deal since I’ve bought designer diaper bags in the past and we seem to destroy them even though they’re great quality! So I decided to save instead of splurge on this one, but I love the look and it is genuine leather (it’s actually really soft!)

Here I found a nursing cover made by Petunia Pickle Bottom and this one was a really good deal!

On PPB’s website they have this on clearance for $24 but you had to pay shipping. But the same one is on Amazon for $17 with free Prime shipping!

Here’s the link:

Petunia Pickle Bottom Haven Nursing Cover, Marbella Meadows

I am also packing my favorite as-of-lately hand sanitizer, and it smells so good!  And it’s natural-based! So win win! Oh and really inexpensive at $1.34!

Germ-x Natural Hand Sanitizer Spray, Citrus Vanilla, 2 Fluid Ounce

Here’s a little set of pacifiers for little ones ages 0 to 6 months.  Hopefully she likes these ones!

Philips AVENT Freeflow Pacifier BPA, Free Pink / White, 0-6 Months (Pack of 2)

The other thing that I purchased from Amazon which we are bringing to the hospital is her car seat! I went with the ‘baby trend’ brand because it is compatible with my double stroller, and it is a trusted and safe brand.  I was debating whether to go high-end with this purchase as well but it had good safety reports and high ratings. It was under $100 and with Amazon having a 20% off baby gear promo it was a good deal! Here’s the link:

Baby Trend Flex Loc Infant Car Seat, Phantom, 5-30 Pounds

On a side-note, I didn’t know that the car seat came with the base and so I ordered one separately. But Amazon is really easy to do returns with so I just printed off a return label and dropped it off at my local UPS store,  and voilà I will get a refund pretty soon.  They make returns super easy!

We happened to find this cute little baby doll car seat for our youngest daughter, Ava, who just turned 4.  We thought it would be fun to have her own little car seat for her baby doll as she transitions to big sister! I couldn’t find this exact one on Amazon since I got this at the store but here is a similar item on Amazon:

Doll Toy Car Seat – Pink Dot

Although I still have a few more things to add, I hope that gave you some good ideas of what to pack in your own diaper bag, and be sure to take advantage of the 20% promo off select baby items!
Much love!

Cleo Madison

Being in my third trimester, it’s kind of crazy to admit, but I haven’t bought any maternity tops! I’ve actually had the best luck finding regular shirts that happen to work for maternity-wear!

One of my favorite tops this season is this darling peach and white print knot-top from Cleo Madison.DSC_2570DSC_2541DSC_2565DSC_2569 And can you believe it’s only $17?! Such a deal!

I’ve been wearing this all summer but am looking forward to wearing it during fall as well! I also love the fit! It’s perfect for my baby bump right now, but it’ll also work as I get back to normal!

And thanks to Cleo Madison for such cute clothes at great prices!!

Surviving The Last 10 Weeks

I remember with all of my past pregnancies, the last 10 weeks seem to be the most uncomfortable, and I’m at 32 weeks!!!

But the things that have got me through are:
-sleeping with 8 pillows
-swimming as much as possible with my daughters
-comfy summer dresses

So I’m excited to share my latest favorite find (which is actually non-maternity but works great for maternity wear) from Carissamiss!

I’m wearing the lilac color, but this is the link to the darling chartreuse color in the same style, which is also on sale! *And just for size reference, I’m 5’4″ and wearing a size small.

Probably the most amazing thing about this dress is its purpose….100% of the proceeds go to fund grants for fertility treatments! You should read the inspiring story behind these darling dresses !

Isn’t that amazing? Well comfortable and beautiful dresses with a purpose is definitely a win!

Have a great summer loves!

I love sharing when I find a new favorite piece, and so I wanted to fill you in on a fun dress that I found at Posey & Pence!
This non-maternity piece actually works perfectly during my pregnancy due to the stretch! But even if you’re not expecting, it would be a darling dress or tunic! (I’m 5’4″ so it happened to work for me as a dress)
The things that stand out on this dress is the darling floral print! It has a grey tone to it (and I’m obsessed with anything grey!) but then there’s fun pops of pink and green that just say summer!
Also, the criss-cross neckline is such a fun detail that I’ve seen so much of this season!
And as an expecting mamma, I’m definitely looking for comfort! So I love that this dress is so comfy due to the stretch and super soft fabric!
Oh I also want to mention that it’s on sale, so the price is even sweeter…only $18.99!
I hope you like this cute find, and thanks to Posey & Pence for making such cute clothes!!

Darling Summer Dress – Jam Clothing

I love it when I find versatile pieces that work for date night out, or grocery shopping and errands!

This summer, I’ve been living in dresses and this breezy blue dress from Jam Clothing has to be one that is on repeat, probably due to its versatility! I’ve worn it to church, and rehearsals, but also to do my day-to-day errands!

For date night I paired it with my favorite wedges and a choker. For my ‘mom stuff’ I threw on my flat sandals and had my hair in a top-knot….easy!

Here’s some of the other things I love about this dress: the fabric is this light gauze/cotton and keeps you so cool! 😎 I also love the color-I am a sucker for this dusty blue with a delicate cream stripe, ah! And the length is just right on me, even with my 28-week bump! And one more thing….it has pockets, enough said!

Did I mention that it is on sale right now? You can purchase it here and it’s discount price is $26!

Oh and remember that this dress is non-maternity but it totally works as a maternity piece! And for reference on sizing, I am 5’4″ and am 28 weeks along, wearing a size small. 🙂

Thanks loves! XOXO

Friday Favorite – Undercover Mama

View More: More: More: More: More: More: More: More:
Yay it’s Friday, and I’m so happy for the weekend! I’m actually performing tomorrow night for patriotic program which I will be sure to include pictures!

But today I wanted to share a with you some of my ‘Friday Favs’! And this is a good one!

I was so happy to come across the Utah-based company, Undercover Mama, and I found ‘the perfect dress’ for summer!

The dress is such a sweet summer dress with the cutest stripe print, comfy stretch, and high-quality material!

I love how I can wear this for maternity, but also later on when I’m not sporting a baby bump!

And since it is so hot this summer I actually chose to have the dress hemmed shorter because it comes full-length, like a maxi dress. (My mom hemmed it for me, thanks mom!)

I ordered in a size small just so you can have a reference for sizing!

I also feel like you could dress up or down.  I chose to pair it with some comfy sneakers and a baseball cap that day, but you could add some heels and jewelry to glam up the look!

It literally feels like overnight my baby bump just popped!  All of the sudden everyone can tell I’m pregnant, which is good though because I am 26 weeks along!  I have had to find pieces for my wardrobe that are transitional maternity wear since my bump has gotten bigger!

Luckily, there are so many options out there besides traditional maternity clothes that can be worn during pregnancy and after! I wanted to share with you some of the pieces that I found from one of my new favorite shops, ‘A Dip Of Darling,’ that happen to work perfectly for maternity wear!  But keep in mind that these clothes are not maternity so you could wear them at any time!

This first look  features a blue skirt from ‘A Dip of Darling‘ and I ordered this and a medium because I usually wear a small but I needed some more room for my baby bump. I chose to wear it high-waisted, although it could be worn lower as well.  They have tons of different colors to choose from!

I bought my shirt from Amazon, but they don’t have any more! But you can shop some similar looks here: Coohole Women’s Casual Off Shoulder Boat Neck Floral Printed Blouse Tops T-Shirt (Blue, M)
Walant Women Long Sleeve Off Shoulder Floral Print Top Loose Casual Blouse
Dearlovers Women Short Sleeves Boho Print Summer Peplum Top Shirts Medium Size Pink

This next look is a comfy baby doll top in a dusty lavender color. I paired it with some maternity bermuda shorts in a bright color since it’s summer and I loved how the look turned out! The fabric is so soft and I love how it drapes right over my bump! They also have these and many different colors and prints! Oh and I am wearing a size small here just for reference.

This final look that I love is an A-line blouse. It has beautiful details and darts, darling ruffles, and it zips in the back.  It is such a cute and unique top!  I brightened up the look with some Sky-blue Moto jeggings that I got from Journey Five last year so I don’t know if they’re still available.  This top is a size small just to give you an idea for sizing.

I hope you like these pieces that I shared with you! I had such a great time teaming up with ‘A Dip of Darling’ clothing company! They are based out of northern Utah and I’m always happy to support outstanding local companies!

And thank you to Katie Phillips for her amazing photography as always

‘You don’t have to be perfect to be amazing’ I just love this quote!

This design was made by my amazing and talented friend, Caytie!

I have known her for many years and she is seriously so awesome! We have teamed up and are giving away this beautiful saying that Caytie created in calligraphy! (The winner will be able to download via PDF)

I wanted Caytie to create this saying because it means a lot to me. I think this is a great reminder to me (and all women) that you as we are trying to better ourselves we can still have a reminder that we are amazing, even if we’re not perfect at everything!

I love the colorful lettering, and the style–it is just so darling! Didn’t she do such a great job?

Caytie also does custom work, and has an Etsy shop that you have to check out–it’s so adorable!

So hop on over to Instagram and be sure to enter the giveaway!

Happy summer loves!
