Wow, we just got done with our first week of school! It went great, and my daughters were so excited to wear their new school outfits that we picked up at the Tanger Outlets in Park City, which one of my favorite places to visit this time of year!

Speaking of Park City, last weekend we decided to take a little ‘stay-cation’ in order to have a quick, end-of-summer getaway! We also wanted to finish up our back-to-school shopping, so the perfect fit was to go to Zermott Resort in Midway! It’s one of our favorite local resorts! We were able to swim, go out to eat, shop at the outlets in nearby Park City, and enjoy the beautiful Utah mountain scenery–the leaves are actually turning to fall colors in the mountains!

While we were shopping at the outlets, I found a few great pieces that I wanted to share! Here’s some of my favorites that I picked out:
This one is a zebra sweat-shirt. It has a subtle zebra design in gold foil, and it’s pretty casual, yet chic! Perfect mommy-wear for the upcoming fall!

And here’s another piece that I’m wearing right now since it’s short sleeves, although I plan to layer with a jacket/sweater when it gets cooler! Oh yeah, it’s zebra, too! I don’t know why, I just love that print right now!

I also found these tunics for my daughters at the Old Navy Outlet. They both loved the style, and I loved that it goes with anything! You can’t really go wrong! Taylor chose this for her top for the first day of school, too.
These leggings were Madison’s choice for her first day of school outfit! They were a good price and she especially loved the fun splashes of color!

The last thing we like to do to kick off the end of summer is to do a fashion show in the girls’ new school clothes! It’s really fun–we use tape and make a runway and put on some music, and then the girls walk/dance the runway in their new outfits! It’s a fun tradition and we love to see them get all excited for school to begin!

I hope you are liking this time of year as you transition into the fall weather and back into school schedules! It’s a great time of year, so be sure to take time to enjoy it!
XOXO,
Amy
